A clean bill of health
Our littlest one got a check up a week and a half ago. He passed with flying colors! :)
He has a healthy spine.
His arms look well-formed.
As do his legs and feet.
And his face. His overall size is also right in line with what we’d expect.
And the blood flow to his brain looks perfect – no signs of anemia. :)
We are so excited to meet this little guy sometime in December! :)
And we did just find out he’s a little boy. The children were so cute – they really wanted a little brother but were telling themselves he was probably a girl so they wouldn’t be disappointed. They are so excited! And Jonathan has decided he’s old enough to help with the name search and is giving me suggestions and his opinions on our ideas. I’m OK with this as long as he realizes he doesn’t have any final say in the matter. :)
As for me, I’m feeling pretty good. I’ve been over the nausea for a month or two now and it’s wonderful to feel more normal again! :) I’m enjoying finally looking pregnant (he has been taking after his oldest two sisters and “hiding”) and feeling his little movements. Here is a picture of me from last Monday, at nearly 21 weeks along (about halfway through the pregnancy).
Great news! A boy would be a perfect addition. I’m glad you are feeling OK, Cassia. Rest when you can. This is a pretty picture of you. If Jonathan gets to help pick names, so do I. I suggest Thomas. Of course, being the matriarch of the family, I DO get to have final say. OK?
Love, Gramma
Looking beautiful! So excited for all of you!
Wow, congratulations! I am so happy for you and can’t wait to see his sweet face!
