Catch up on pictures

Abby’s favorite outfit – if this was in her drawer she’d wear it, no matter what else was also there
March 2013

Jonathan participated in the Scouting for Food program. Our neighborhood was very generous! Here he is in front of all of the collected food in our van.

And here is all of it piled up. Jonathan collected the most of all his pack. I was very proud of him!

Preparing for “Broadcast of Youth” (Jonathan’s name for it) – interviewing all the children. Those interviews will be posted later. :)

I honestly can’t remember which child took this picture, but I’m pretty sure the flowers came from Kathryn. They were the blossoms from one of our trees out back and she wanted to give me a gift. :)
April 2013

Playtime at the park. Kathryn is starting to take on the big sister role and want to help Abby play. I love it! :)

I finally finished this wall display of the children’s artwork. I don’t have a picture of it actually on the wall though. :) But I have this up in the “kid room” which is used for kid crafts, games, and legos. Yay for one more home decorating project finally getting up! :)

Spring break fun – we took the children to a local indoor play area and Abby especially loved this toy. There were springs in the bottom and she would enjoy jumping up and down.
May 2013

Abby and I joined Katie for a class field trip to a local park. Instead of playing with her school friends, she took on the big sister role and played with Abby the whole time. :)

Jonathan was assigned to create something to sell to his classmates on “market day.” He chose pet rocks. Each one was different.
Another outside playtime
Emma’s goodbye cards
Emma wanted to write a thank you card to her teacher before the end of school. This is what she came up with:
Then she decided to make a card for her friends. Every single class member. She drew a picture of each child and wrote something inside about them. And they were truly individualized. It was one of those heart melting moments for me. :)
