Theater
Jonathan called Bryan and me upstairs to see the play he and Emma had put together. Here is the vast majority of it (the camera battery died at the very end): And the witch stayed caught in the lamp again and the princess was happy. The end. :)

Birthday boy
We celebrated Jonathan’s fourth birthday last Thursday (06/19). It’s hard to believe our little guy is four years old already!
Daddy/daughter duet
Emma has taken a keen interest in music over the last several weeks. She regularly raids Cassia’s scriptures in search of her portable-sized hymnbook, and after finding it will open it to random pages and start singing the first few notes of an original melody. Father’s Day 2008
I blogged about Father’s Day last year, so I guess I’ll make it a tradition by doing so again this year.
My best Father’s Day was also my first. Jonathan was born in the evening hours of June 19, 2004, the day before Father’s Day. I said then, and have repeated it many times since, that his birth was the best Father’s Day present I could have ever received – especially considering the fact that he was 3-1/2 weeks early and delivered by emergency Caesarean section because of Cassia’s sudden pre-eclampsia.
