Cross-dressing
To add to the drama of nap time (i.e., keeping each other awake), Jonathan has recently started stripping and usually dressing in his night clothes (though sometimes he just stays stripped). Emma, who loves to copy her big brother, often ends up without clothes. But today, they definitely raised the bar:
Not only was Emma’s bedding replaced by Jonathan’s, and not only did they both strip and get into night clothes–they got into each other’s night clothes! I have to admit, Emma looks funny mainly because the clothes are so big, but Jonathan just looks off. :) There is definitely a double standard in our culture–it’s OK for a girl to wear “boy’s clothes” but a boy should not wear “girl’s clothes.” And, as a side note, I’m also intrigued and puzzled by the fact that Emma’s night clothes don’t really look small on Jonathan. That’s just weird.
And yet another blackmail picture for Jonathan. :)
