Jonathan sings, Part 4

Jonathan is such a sweet, well-natured person to be around when he wakes up in the morning. By the end of the day, however, he’s invariably taxing our patience to the limit. :) We think this has a lot to do with the fact that he refuses to take a nap during the day, even though he could really use one (as could we). On the bright side, this “no nap” phase he’s going through enables Cassia and I to put the kids to bed at around 7:00pm without feeling the tiniest shred of guilt.

In this video you can see Jonathan becoming a little testy with Cassia. He tries hard to hide how tired he is, but the signs are all there. Speaking of signs, Jonathan eventually gets around to singing “Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree,” and adds some cute hand signs to accompany the music.  Enjoy!

  1. And actually it was his nap time snubbing that led to these videos. It was that time in the afternoon and Emma was asleep (hence the undivided attention on Jonathan).
